Who is tank cleaning for?
RV Owners
Do you own an RV, or a fleet of rental RVs? Did you just buy a new-to-you RV?
A tank cleaning might be just what you need to get a fresh start!
Let’s face it, at times you may get a whiff of something that just isn’t right in your RV. That, quite possibly, could be coming from your holding tanks. If it doesn’t smell like sewer, it could be your grey tanks. Sometimes they can be worse than the black tanks. Tanks also could be building up struvite (a natural substance found in any septic system or holding tank) which creates weight and obstacles for particles to get caught up in your tank.
Are your sensors not performing? They may be messed up with what has been in your tanks.
Do you just want the previous owner’s mess out of there?
Do you own a fleet and want your renters to have a fresh experience with your units so that they rent again and again?
You would benefit from a tank cleaning!
Do you own or manage a campground or resort?
Getting your visitors to understand their own holding tank system benefits you in so many ways. One being that if they know how to properly care for their system, they in turn aren’t dumping all kinds of nasty chemicals down into your system which can seriously mess up yours! Also, they won’t be calling on you to help them with their unfortunate plumbing issues.
We can come to your campground and hold a presentation teaching your guests the proper way to care for their systems. You tell us when you want to hold a presentation and we’ll do the rest. Free of charge! Make it a monthly event or every other month. Or even just once, it’s up to you.
These presentations will help keep your septic system running smoothly by educating your guests.
Campgrounds/Resorts
Just like mentioned in the Campground/Resort section, we do presentations and can also do them for rallies and events.
Any event that gathers RV owners, that have holding tanks, could benefit from this hour long presentation.
There is so much misinformation about how an RV owner should be taking care of their tanks and we just want to help de-bunk all the myths and educate your audience on the way we feel is correct by only using some smarts and pure water.
Let’s get RV owners using their tanks correctly and avoiding any unfortunate plumbing events.
This presentation is for your group!

What is actually in my tank?
Struvite
Struvite is a problem in sewage systems, even your home’s system, caused naturally from urine, like a kidney stone in your body. Struvite is a scale that will form in your RV’s holding tanks. (see above photos) Struvite will add sludge and weight to your trailer that can cause odors, blockages, and obstacles that will disrupt the proper flow needed to empty your tanks fully.
Struvite can be cleaned out by hydro-jetting and correct care after a professional hydro-jet cleanout. (A tank flush or hose spray is not enough pressure to fully clear your tank. We use specialized equipment)
Your tanks will be like new after a hydro-jetted cleaning.
We recommend NOT using strong chemicals to clear out these tank contaminants because this will mess up a campground’s sewer system. These chemicals remove a system's “good bacteria” and they also leach into the water supply.
Actually, it is unnecessary to use chemicals. Plenty of water, dumping only when 3/4 full, natural products and proper aftercare are all that is needed to keep your tanks working as they should.
A hydro-jet cleaning is recommended every two years for part-time campers and every year for full-timers.
Paper and Poo,
Soap Skum,
Food Particles
If you don’t use enough water in your tanks, toilet paper and other things flushed or sent down the sink and shower drain (soaps, cleaners, body oils, grease, or food particles) will dry out and stick to the sides and in the corners of your tanks causing hard clumps that other things that are flushed later can get caught on.
If this keeps happening you will cause what is called a Poo Pyramid or sludge which will eventually build all the way up to the valve in your toilet or sink drain. This will cause a clog and odors that are quite undesirable and extremely hard to remove. (Fresh Start RV also offers clog removal services)
Most times the grey tank is worse than the black tank!
